The Savior's Flag
When the Christ child was about to be born His Mother, Mary, prepared the manger in which He was to be laid. First she took off the cape she wore, the symbol of her royal lineage. She was from the tribe of Judah of the royal line of King David and the color of the cape was royal blue. She took off this cape and laid it in the manger. Then she removed the white veil she wore indicating that she was a virgin pure and holy. She laid this white veil over the blue cape. Because she was also from the house of Boaz, she wore a shawl indicating the other side of her lineage. The family color of Boaz was red. She took the red shawl and laid it in the manger. Our nation's colors are a replica of the
colors of the swaddling clothes upon which Christ was laid when he first entered into this world. It is clear that the foundation stones of this country were also based upon Christian principles!The second flag under which the American troops fought displayed twelve stars arranged in a circle with one larger star in the center representing the house of Israel, the twelve tribes of Israel and their King, the Savior of the world and/or the twelve apostles and the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Later someone took it upon himself to redesign the flag and put all of the thirteen stars in the circle. This was not the design the "professor" originally communicated to the Founding Fathers. Therefore, when we go back and trace the real history of our land, we find that God had a hand in making America free.) We then can realize that He still has an interest in our liberty. He had an interest in our freedom then, and He has an interest in our freedom now. Don't ever think for a moment that liberty will not again be re-established and preserved by Him. It will be preserved, for God demands that His children be free if they but remember Him and keep His commandments. We are His children and we, if worthy, will remain free no matter what evil men of our day design to do, for Christ will prevail!
